Getting into the sports betting business is a popular venture. It has been so for that past few years. Learning how to be a bookie will open you to opportunities to earn money from wherever you are in the world. The best part, is you have the best bookie pay per head to help you get your sportsbook up and running.
And as sports betting is legalized in the US, most major US sports leagues are getting into partnerships or accept sponsorships from gaming operators. The Major League Baseball (MLB) is the latest to announce another authorized gaming operator.
The MLB’s second authorized gaming operator is DraftKings, coming after MGM Resorts last year. The terms of the deal is not being disclosed, but it does cover a multiple number of years. This deal will also allow DraftKings access to the official data feed of the MLB. In addition, DraftKings will have the right to use the league, as well as its teams’ trademarks for marketing through official channels of the MLB.
This is not the first time that DraftKings and the MLB will be working with each other. DraftKings was the MLB’s official daily fantasy partner back in 2015. In fact, the MLB bought a part of DraftKings. Although in 2018, they sold their stake as they were strategizing on how to better monetize the sports betting market.
And the MLB is not the only sports league that has been entering partnerships with gaming operators. You have the NLF, some NFL teams. You also have the NBA. The PGA is also partnering, with DraftKings, too, for Fantasy Golf. Of course, this is all in the US. Other European leagues (football particularly), have been in partnerships and have gaming sponsors and have had them for a while. And for those who want to own their own sportsbook, there are pay per head reviews you can check out to learn how to do this.
