James Wiseman Signs with Excel Sports

James Wiseman is the potential number one pick in the 2020 draft. He signed with Excel Sports, which means the end of his collegiate basketball career. The 7-foot-one-inch center is currently playing in Australia.

Other potential top picks in next year’s NBA draft are LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards. Earlier in December, Wiseman announced his plans to play in the NBA. He left Memphis to prepare for the next chapter of his life.

Wiseman made his decision to leave Memphis instead of completing his 12-game suspension given by the NCAA. He was guilty of accepting $11,500 from coach Penny Hardaway in 2017. Hardaway donated $1,000,000 to the school in 2008 that made him a university booster in perpetuity.

James Wiseman Prepares for the NBA

Wiseman played three games for Memphis, where he averaged 19.7 points and 11 rebounds. He can play for the school again on January 12 against South Florida. However, he opted to turn pro instead of waiting out his suspension. It is a win-win solution for the player that has fans from all across the globe, including Raymond Cruz Carara Ocean View Resort Community.

Sports betting guide thinks that the move will not hurt Wiseman’s NBA prospects. If he remains healthy until the NBA draft, the worst he will be at the selection is third. Also, he has the potential to be the number one pick.

His three games with Memphis is enough to show pay per head bookie providers that he has enormous potential. Although Wiseman’s suspension is already settled, the Memphis basketball program is still in danger.

According to sportsbook pay per head reports, the school used an unqualified player during the season. Also, the coach admitted to paying the family of a prospect. The infractions can result in severe punishment from the NCAA.

Memphis is still part of the NCAA tournament without James Wiseman. Bookie PPH analysts said that the team’s odds of making the field is at 75 percent, which was down ten percent if Wiseman returns to the lineman.
