The WinStar World Casino and Resort claimed to be the World’s Largest Casino. According to sportsbook pay per head sources, it is expanding its gaming operations by launching its iGaming app in Oklahoma. Also, the app will allow players to gamble with real money on their desktop computer, mobile device, or smartphone.
While Oklahoma does not enable online casino gambling, the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act grants the tribe permission to provide Class I and II internet gaming on its sovereign grounds (IGRA). The National Indian Gambling Association determined in October 2022 that federally recognized tribes can use their Native American property for internet gaming under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA).
According to information from BM1Media News, guests visiting the WinStar resort will be the only ones able to use the gaming app when it launches. While interactive bingo-based games will be available, interactive slots and table games will not.
iGaming App in Oklahoma
For Oklahomans, this will be their first time legally experiencing an iGaming App in Oklahoma. Thankfully, the Chickasaw Nation owns and operates WinStar made this happen for them. The Oklahoma tribe operates 22 other casinos and gaming facilities across the state and its leading casino, WinStar.

Just north of the Oklahoma–Texas line, less than two miles is the massive WinStar facility. The nine casinos on the site referred to as “gaming plazas,” each showcase a distinct city concept. According to bookie white label solution experts, Cairo, Beijing, London, New York, Madrid, Paris, Rome, Rio, and Vienna are all represented in the plazas.
Over 10,000 slot machines, electronic games, and 100 table games are housed in the casinos’ almost 400,000 square feet of gaming area. Over twenty full-service restaurants are available across the resort’s nine international locations. According to Emerson, the app is beta testing with a select group of invited users. In early 2024, WinStar will launch the app and start advertising it.
To ensure that users cannot access real money gambling when they are not physically on WinStar land, the WinStar mobile gaming app will utilize geofencing technology from industry-leading geolocation provider GeoComply.
Everything for the Convenience of their Guests
Whether we want to admit it or not, online gambling popularity is on the rise which is why traditional casinos must adapt. This is exactly what WinStar World Casino did. According to Scott Emerson, the undersecretary for operations at the Chickasaw Nation’s Department of Commerce, the gaming application will offer convenient gambling access for guests on the premises. Emerson stated, ‘This is entirely new for us. Our goal is to enhance the options available to our guests.’
He also mentioned that Aristocrat Leisure’s Anaxi interactive gaming unit is collaborating with the tribe to develop this gaming application, with Aristocrat being a prominent manufacturer in the business-to-business slot and iGaming sector, and Anaxi serving as its online real money gaming division.
State of the Gaming Industry – iGaming App in Oklahoma
The Chickasaw Nation’s application will function independently of that agreement. Under federal law, tribal nations are permitted to provide games fundamentally based on bingo without requiring state consent or supervision. In bingo, participants compete against a collective of other players. In contrast, Vegas-style machines, which fall under the state-tribal gaming agreement, utilize random number generation.
The majority of casinos in Oklahoma offer both game types. Federal authorities granted the Chickasaw Nation initial approval to introduce bingo games on a new platform—mobile devices—approximately one year ago.
Similar authorizations have been extended to the Muscogee and Choctaw nations in eastern Oklahoma. Additionally, the Eastern Shawnee Tribe near Wyandotte and the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes in Anadarko have expressed interest in exploring mobile gaming.
In order to launch the application, the tribe has collaborated with Aristocrat Leisure Limited, an Australian company known for manufacturing slot machines and venturing into mobile gaming. Bill Lance, the secretary of state for the Chickasaw Nation, has recently been appointed to Aristocrat’s board of directors.
A representative from the company did not respond to a request for comments regarding the app’s launch plans. Emerson indicated that the app is currently accessible to a select group of invited individuals. It is expected to be released and promoted more extensively throughout Winstar, which the tribe claims to be the largest casino in the world, within the upcoming month.
