Can Aaron Rodgers Come back this Season?

Aaron Rodger suffered a broken collarbone Playing professional football certainly gets its share of player injuries and last Sunday, another NFL superstar was lost to injury.  Green Bay Packer quarterback, Aaron Rodger suffered a broken collarbone in the first quarter against the Minnesota Vikings that ended up in a 10-24 loss for the Packers.

The injury came about after he was tackled hard by linebacker Anthony Barr of the Vikings.  He was promptly taken off the field in a cart and was later diagnosed with a broken collarbone.

The big question is whether Rodgers will be able to come back to the field this season.

The event was being held at Terrou-Bi hotel in the Senegalese capital of Dakar to honor African women who excelled in their chosen fields. 

This is the second year that this award ceremony is being held to celebrate African women who have made exceptional impact and change in their countries or communities in a particular year.

The winners were selected by a special panel of judges from 68 shortlisted candidates across 12 categories.

Australian $11.3 Billion Gaming Giant Merger

Australian $11.3 Billion Gaming Giant MergerTwo of Australia’s biggest gambling companies, Tabcorp and Tatts have just agreed to merge to create an $11.3 billion mega-merger.

The merger of these two companies will create a near monopoly that will control 90 percent of Australia’s gambling revenue which is in excess of $5 billion.  The combined market value of both companies is worth around $8.6 billion.

The decision was made with a unanimous consent by the board of director of both companies where they agreed to a script and cash deal giving Tabcorp control of the merged companies.

Shareholders of Tatts will receive 0.8 shares plus 42.5 cents for each of their share which will be at a 20 percent premium along with a $500 million share buyback once the merger is complete in 2017.
